Matt joined Braver as a shareholder in 2006 with over 17 years of experience working with Ernst & Young. Matt has provided federal, multi-state and international tax compliance and planning, transaction advisory and tax audit defense services to a broad group of family-owned and entrepreneurial businesses throughout New England in many industries. These include retail (beverage manufacturer, restaurants, candles), real estate, technology, financial services (mutual funds, hedge fund/private equity and VC) and manufacturers (wall-coverings, musical instruments, oil and gas and plastic moldings).
He has his Master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley College and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Matt lives in Needham with his wife and four children and is a member of the Needham Economic Development Advisory Committee, President of the Needham Heights Neighborhood Association, and Board member and Past Treasurer of the Needham Historical Society.
